Homemade Pizza Dough Recipe

There’s something magical about pizza nights at home, isn’t there? Growing up, our family would gather in the kitchen, flour dusting the counters and laughter filling the air. We’d roll out the dough together, each person adding their own touch. The smell of baking bread mingling with the fresh ingredients created an aroma that still makes my heart swell with nostalgia. Making pizza dough from scratch isn’t just a cooking task; it’s a cherished tradition. Let’s dive into this simple recipe that brings family together, creating delicious memories one slice at a time!

Ingredients
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 1/2 cup warm water
- 2 tbsp active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup powdered milk
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 TSP SALT
- 4 – 5 1/2 cups of flour
Instructions
- Sprinkle yeast and sugar over warm water and let foam for approx 10 minutes.
- Mix in powdered milk,salt and oil.
- add 2 1/2 cups of flour and mix till smooth
- Add the enough flour so dough doesn’t stick to hands
- let raise 45 minutes or until double in size
- knead down and let raise for 20 minutes
- split dough and spread onto pans.
